About HFA
Hunter Fine Art was set up in 2003 by artist Gregory Rankine and art historian Dr Ailsa Boyd.
Our aim is to show the best of contemporary artists working in Scotland and the UK, mixing traditional approaches to painting with edgier work. We display and sell artworks by new and established artists, including: paintings, photographs and prints, in various exhibition and gallery spaces in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and at art fairs.
Many of our artists have a confirmed reputation in the commercial sector, but we would like to mix their work with that of artists working in less traditional styles and media, who do not have the same commercial reputation or audience. We want to show all these artists in new and exciting ways. This also means that we can introduce collectors and our customers to artwork they might not otherwise come across.
As you can see, our website is currently under construction - hence the lack of images of work by our artists! - but will be completed very soon. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.
